Convert Android mobileCam to WebCam

How to make your android mobile camera to a webcam device in computer and share yourself in the skype, yahoo messenger simply ?

I've done a lots of analysis and googling about this topic. I've Samsung Galaxy 5 mobile (I5500GT) and I want to make this connected with my computer/laptop via data cable and just use its camera as a webcam. Is this possible ? ? The answer is Yes - of course possible - but how ? Please follow the step by step procedure below -

1. Need to download droidCam application from google apps (play store) or you may download apk file from other website (in this case make sure you have provided permission in your mobile to install third party softwares :) )

2. Now download the DroidCam client for your computer - win7 or XP what ever you want & install.

3. Now open the application from your phone - by default the IP would be 0.0.0.0 and the port would be 4747. Now keep this open

4. Connect the mobile with computer.

5. Open the droidcam client application from computer. This would be look like below - - -

Click connect to Phone (USB) - don't start now

Just check the IP is blank and the port is same as the mobile app (make sure mobile app is open after connecting to USB and drivers are ok with your computer)

6. Just open yahoo messenger and go to webcam (messenger tab) --> then preference - > choose camera 

There choose DroidCam (remember Your web camera now is DroidCam)

7. Go to the Droidcam client and click START -- > check your webcam is working :)
